This little guy caught a ride home with me all the way from the hospital this morning. Freeway and all! Also, I forgot how exhausting it was working until 0730 then trying to convince yourself to go to sleep when it's daytime and there's actually blue skies out!

Four years ago today, I was curled up on my midtown Manhattan couch watching with a proud tear in my eye, and listening with a warm sense of accomplishment to the celebrations on the street as my country elected a new president. Today I'm on my Seattle couch in the opposite corner of the country eating a local margerita pizza that is good, but not NYC. Elegant speach Mr. President. We stand behind you as one nation under God. Because no matter how you voted, that it was we are today. And for those of you who did not exercise this most basic of rights, shame on you.

Had to go with the poor lighting so you could see the point of the picture: 5 messages telling me who and what to vote for. Thank God the election is tomorrow and this will all be over for 4 more years!

I love having college football Saturdays off!! Today I woke up at noon, watched some football with cold pizza for breakfast, took a nap at 330 then woke up to watch more football :)
