A 12-hour shift in the ER has nothing on this two year old! We spent pretty much the whole day playing and we had a great time. Here he is double fisting technology with his favorite aunt Toni. He's quite the pro. By the end of the day I was literally physically exhausted from trying to keep up with the little energy ball, but there really is nothing better and I couldn't have been happier!

Today I met my friends from nursing school for a fabulous lunch at Firehouse. It was fantastic as always. And it was extra special to be able to see everyone, it's been a long time since we've all been together for anything. We did miss Danielle though, who was in the hospital with a kidney stone during her 36th week of pregnancy. Poor miserable girl, I felt so bad. But we took her flowers and told her that would go to lunch another day with her when she's feeling better. Loving spending time with family and friends, there truly is nothing better!

The highlights of today included starting the morning with my favorite Boston at the library. Then we went to lunch at Chili's where I devoured an entire plate of southwest eggrolls... delicious!!! Then we did a girl's afternoon getting pedicures, it's kind of become a tradition every time I come home. And who doesn't love getting your feet spoiled, even if it is snowy outside?!

I've been waiting for this moment for the past 2 weeks! Dad is opening his present, the best present I think I have ever gotten anyone: a game worn Bobby Wagner jersey. He played at Utah State and is a rookie with the Seahawks this year. Dad loves it, and he deserves it. He's the greatest dad ever!

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go. I'll be home for Christmas for the first time in about 10 years. I have 1 bag of just presents, another bag of clothes. Thank goodness bags fly free on Southwest. I can't wait to see my family and be able to spend 9 whole days with them. And of course I've missed my beautiful mountains, and can't wait for a gorgeous white Christmas. There's nothing like flying into the beautiful mountains covered in snow in Salt Lake.

So... the world didn't end. Therefore I had to go to work. And I wanted to share that it's not so much a biological odor eliminator as it is a 'make it smell like lemon poop and lemon vomit' spray.

So, when you take the last flight out after a football game that you flew in for, the airport is REALLY empty!! And creepy. The security to passenger ratio is 12-1!

Do you see that bright thing in the sky? It was gone after 3 minutes. Not exaggerating. Wind, rain, and dense clouds 3 minutes after.

Woke up at 1pm. Had to turn the light on in the living room. This is why I hate Seattle winters. Only six months of dense cloud-covered darkness to go...
